Configure the catalogs that power every school
Choose what a School Admin can do in their own portal
Enable & disable classes
Let school admins turn on the classes their school actually runs. A class with pupils can't be disabled.
Assign form teachers
Let school admins set the form (class) teacher for each class.
Assign subject teachers
Let school admins assign teaching staff to subjects in a class. When off, subject postings are managed by the board.
Add & enrol students
Let school admins add new students to their school.
Move a pupil to another class
Let school admins correct a pupil's class or stream — the wrong class picked at admission, or a mid-session move. It stays within their own school, and is sent for approval if pupil record edits are checked.
Report pupils who leave
Let school admins report a pupil who graduated, transferred out, was withdrawn or died. It is sent to the Supervising Director for approval — the pupil's record is never deleted.
Add staff
Let school admins add staff records for their school.
Hand out staff onboarding links
Let school admins generate a link new staff fill in themselves. Nothing they submit reaches the register until the school admin checks it and the Supervising Director approves the record, so this grants no ability to add staff — only to stop typing forty files by hand.
Report staff who leave or step away
Let school admins report a staff member who retired, resigned, died or went on leave, secondment or suspension. It is sent to the Supervising Director for approval — the staff record is never deleted.
Update facilities & furniture
Let school admins edit infrastructure, facilities and class seater counts.
Changes apply to every school. School admins see the new permissions the next time they open a page.
